Meet Justin Sutton-Parker, a trailblazer in the field of sustainable IT. As CEO and Chief Scientist for award winning research and consulting organisation Px3, Justin's research forms the foundation for sustainable IT strategies for 15 of the world's leading information technology companies including Google and Microsoft.

Holding an MBA in Sustainability and a doctorate researcher for Computer and Urban Science at Warwick University, Justin is published in international science journals, as sustainable IT editor for the world's leading ethical and sustainability magazine and as a contributor to the UK government's Greening ICT strategy.

Responsible for research that enables the leading international third-party environmental certification TCO Certified sustainable Report Generator, Acer's global Green Rewards trade in programme and inventor of the Dynamic Carbon Footprint application used for sustainable IT procurement, Justin focuses on four simple steps to success.

These include low energy computing devices, green data centres, hardware useful lifespan extension and reducing commuting to access IT.

To date, global organisations employing over 5m users have made IT procurement and use behavioural changes based on this scientifically substantiated strategy that supports the UN Sustainable Development goals of responsible production and consumption, partnership for the goals and ultimately climate action.
