Mervi Airaksinen
Managing Director, Microsoft Finland
Mervi Airaksinen (MSc Econ.) is Managing Director for Microsoft Finland. Prior to Microsoft, she worked as Managing Director for IBM. Mervi has also held leadership positions for Finland and the Baltics for Cisco Systems. She has strong background in ICT in leading companies on their growth path, as well as a passion for the possibilities for how technology can make a positive impact on our daily lives. She is a big believer in life-long learning and makes that real by serving on education-related boards like Vaasa University and edtech start-up Learning Intelligence Group. Mervi lives in Espoo with her husband, 10-year-old son and their Parson Russell dog. In her spare time, she re-charges by riding horses, competing in dressage, and proudly participating in a charity cycling team (Rynkeby) which raises funds for children with critical illnesses.
