Technical Overview Breakout Session

The Fortinet Technical Solution Overview Workshop is aimed at the technical community within the Partner Channel. By attending this workshop you will hear a brief overview of Fortinet’s success and future plans and learn about the trends and market drivers that are leading customers to adopt SD-WAN solutions, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks.

Choose between these two workshops designed to enhance your current technical knowledge and skills.

1) An Introduction to Fortinet NGFW Workshop

During this hands-on session, participants will learn how to:
  • Reduce complexity with industry-leading security effectiveness
  • Enhance visibility with automated action
  • Simplify SSL performance and complexity issues for encrypted cloud access
  • Reduce resource usage across the enterprise WAN with ADVPN
2) Advanced Endpoint Protection, Visibility and Control Workshop

During this hands-on session, participants will learn how to:
  • Integrate FortiClient EMS into the Security Fabric
  • Deploy the custom FortiClient installer
  • Configure FortiClient EMS to apply ZTNA tags to endpoints that FortiGate can use to dynamically control access to subnets and corporate assets
  • Deploy FortiEDR collector
  • Apply FortiEDR virtual patching to workstation
  • Configuring FortiEDR pre- and post-execution scanning policies
  • Filter, sort, and view events in FortiEDR
  • Perform forensic analysis in FortiEDR
Finally, we will share how our team handles technical objections, the competitive landscape and where to access supporting content & programs that you can leverage for discussions with your customers.
