What is Dell APEX?
Dell APEX Flex on Demand is a cloud-based IT consumption model via the channel. This means your customers will be able to customise hardware and software configurations and set automated committed and buffer capacities for scalable, accurate and cost-effective cloud computing.
Flex on Demand
Dell APEX Flex on Demand means that ‘committed’ computing capacity can be allocated upfront as a baseline usage, measured with automated tools, and can provide a single billing rate that helps accurately predict future costs. ‘Buffer’ capacity may be called upon in the future if required.
Flex on Demand gives additional peace of mind by capping total monthly billing at 85 percent usage of the total installed capacity (committed plus buffer), and where usage consistently consumes most of the installed capacity, it’s simple to increase the baseline commitment for the long term, adjusting billing against usage.
